A Program like no other
Through our VA program, we offer long-term care and respite care options specifically designed for veterans and their spouses. If you have senior relatives who are veterans of the armed forces and require home health care in Toms River, NJ, Ocean County, or Monmouth County, feel free to inquire about our VA programs.
Our program assists veterans and their surviving spouses in applying for Department of Veterans Affairs benefits that cover the costs of assistance with daily activities. Our home care services include the provision of a personal care assistant and medical alert system technology. We can initiate home care before the VA processes the claim or our clients receive VA funds.
There are approximately 76 million veterans from the baby boomer generation who may benefit from home health care services. Retired U.S. veterans can potentially cover the cost of these services through qualifying for Veterans Affairs (VA) programs.
VA Benefits May Cover Home Care Services for Military Spouses
If you or your spouse require assistance with daily activities, your VA benefits may be able to cover the expenses of home care services. Numerous VA benefits are available for home care, and in many cases, veterans are eligible for multiple programs.
What Are Veteran Home Care Benefits?
This benefit is provided by the VA to eligible veterans who receive a VA pension and spend the majority of their time at home due to a permanent disability. Spouses or surviving spouses may also qualify for this benefit, which can be utilized to cover the costs of home care services. It includes assistance with daily activities such as bathing, eating, dressing, memory care, and support for disabilities or illnesses.
To participate in our VA programs, veterans need to apply for VA benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs. Once eligible, veterans can receive personalized home care through the VA programs we offer, including respite care.
Through our VA programs, veterans will receive tailored home care from our highly skilled and licensed caregivers. Our caregivers are trained to assist with various types of care, including personal support with daily activities (ADLs), meal preparation, housekeeping, and transportation. We prioritize meeting all of your loved one’s care needs, and our compassionate caregivers provide excellent care while treating your loved ones with respect.
Specific Limitations and Terms May Apply:
*Aid and Attendance and Housebound Pension benefits may not be used at the same time. Both benefits offer a spousal and surviving spouse option.
